but a girl lost a perfect game in the California High School state tournament a few years ago without officially letting anyone get on base.
Game went into extra innings where they start with a runner on second. Runner steals 3rd, catcher throws it away, game over. No runs, no hits, 1 error, on a runner who never officially reached base. Now that's a hard one to take.
