After rewatching the episode and then watch the door from last season. I've come up with a few things myself.

- The chains and spears were brought to the frozen lake as it was a planned trap
- The nights king knew they would be there as he is either bran or has part of Bran's conciousness in him, kinda like what turned wylis in Hodor
- Ravens were totally upgraded this season.

One of the craziest out-of-left-field-with-no-evidence fan theories I've heard is that tomorrow's episode is the series finale and they've just been pretending that there's a Season 8. It'd be more believable if it weren't for the Winterfell storyline.

The guy who plays Jamie says he was just called in for filming of season 8, and that he is really looking forward to reading the scripts.

This is a show-only theory. Bran can sort-of time travel, so people think he may have traveled back, built the Wall, and become the Night King. That's basically it.

I'm a fan of the theory because it makes things interesting, but at this point, based on the shitty writing, the Night King is probably just some boring random ice zombie.

Also in the book
Spoiler: show
the actual Night King may have been a Stark so even though the book Night King and show Night King aren't the same character the show could be borrowing the potential Stark connection anyway.

Interesting.

The zombie dragon is a fun twist though.

Excited about the coming episode. Too bad there is another year until the last season. Hopefully this episode will be among the very best.

It's two years we have to wait.

I believe the schedule is late 2018 to early 2019.
