kinda called it... the sisters were playin' the playerdoone wrote:I think Arya knows Littlefinger is trying to play her and the scene with Sansa was just her way of finding out whether Sansa is his puppet. The fact that Sansa did not follow his advice is a good sign.

You'd think Rhaegar would have thought of another name for his second son.

I don't remember, what was his first son's name? Does he have a first son on the show?cutuphalfdead wrote:You'd think Rhaegar would have thought of another name for his second son.

Re: HBO: Game of Thrones (Song of Ice and Fire)
Yo I'm not mad about Faegon and Jon being melded together. I'm mad because Tormund made a quip about hoping to get used to the top of the Wall, but he had already climbed it like dozens of times.
I thought the scenes between Tyrion and Cersei and between Cersei and Jaime were all really good. Besides those and the visual of the wall going down, I wasn't absolutely in love with much from this episode, although I generally thought it was good. Winterfell was the down note, except for Aiden Gillen's performance in his final scene, which was as slimey and pathetic as it should have been.
I'm proud of this post from two weeks ago and how it played out in that scene:

Both Rhaegar and Aegon were dead by the time Jon was born. I assumed it was Lyanna who named him.cutuphalfdead wrote:You'd think Rhaegar would have thought of another name for his second son.

That made up for the past two episodes for the most part. Had some flaws obviously, but was good.

Also, I think I saw Qyburn's boner during the wight scene.

The Winterfell payoff was great, but didn't completely justify the several episodes it took to get there. Littlefinger's reaction was perfect.

Yeah it seemed abrupt and unearned, even though I liked where it ended up.Monkey_Driven wrote:The Winterfell payoff was great, but didn't completely justify the several episodes it took to get there. Littlefinger's reaction was perfect.

Ultimately, we knew that would be his destiny. I just wish there was a little bit more built up to the payoff.cutuphalfdead wrote:Yeah it seemed abrupt and unearned, even though I liked where it ended up.Monkey_Driven wrote:The Winterfell payoff was great, but didn't completely justify the several episodes it took to get there.
