Yeah very excited. Destiny became a very good game after the Taken King expansion and Destiny 2 looks like it will continue that trend.
I want to like Destiny but I rarely play online with friends and I hate the grinding/loot drops of online shooters these days. I feel like I'm missing out on something though.

My friend is a serious Destiny player. I asked if I should start playing quite a while after it came out, and he said "Don't bother." Point is I think it's a game you want to start early, otherwise the player base just becomes too OP for newbs.

Yeah, I just don't have the time to grind for 20+ hours to get the good shit.
The grinding was fine after the Taken King expansion. It became very fluid experience, at least for me. You could sit and play a couple strikes and get some good loot and it would take a hour or so. I was pretty late to Destiny and it wasn't issue.

I'm okay. I enjoy the PVE more than the PVP so it's harder to judge 'good' in the PVE space of the game.

I guess I know everyone is angry about it, I just didn't realize the heights this anger was reaching.
Beastcast and Giant Bombcast. I listen more for the people than the news so to hear them lambast Nintendo on the Beastcast for about 10-15 minutes was kind of weird.

Dammit...the Best Buys here have Switches in stock but I won't want to order one because I'm so busy right now and I don't want to be all "SHINY" and fall behind on stuff. Ugh.

Seems like they've been in stock quite a bit lately. I saw four at my local Target last week.
They were at gamestop last time I went.. I was so pumped when it first came out to get it but it's months later and there hasn't been a new game I'm interested in so I'm glad I didn't get it
