The 2 parts of PT go together so well. It's almost like a musical message saying just when you think it's all like this, life throws you around. It's awesome.

"Inside Job" starts and builds up like something absolutely grand, but I hate how it's reduced to straight-forward strumming of some basic chords from the mid point on.

i'd really like thin air if not for the lyricsWaverider wrote:THIN AIR
Coming out of the first chorus.....the guitars doing that "we're really drunk guitars putting down a random dumb, wobbly sound for your listening pleasure" kinda thing.

Im going to have agree with STIP on this, vocals on Comatose are great....

Since you both have avatars associated with the works of Matt Groening, I'm going to let this slide...melonhead4 wrote:stip wrote:i love the vocals on comatose. Since your username is referencing a frames song, I'll let this slide.

I love Light Years, but always find myself wishing the end would extend with Ed singing over it. Think they did it in concert one time, but can't recall for certain. If so, can someone point me to that version?

Yes, I think so. Basically an extended jam on the normal end of the tune with ed chiming in a few times. So likely what you are saying.stip wrote:he says goodbye a few times. Is that what you're talking about?

Thats the one...thanks! Even there, I felt like there's plenty of room to jam it out and wished it went on a bit longer.stupidmop wrote:sward wrote:I love Light Years, but always find myself wishing the end would extend with Ed singing over it.
