I heard a version of Jeremy on XM today from his show and it sounded great. At first I thought they may have pulled it from LO2L, but no, Jeremy is not included on LO2L.

I ask, then, is there some great source for this show that I'm not aware of? If it was an audience recording, it's gotta be the best one I've ever heard. If that is the case, and if anyone has it, please share.

Maybe I'll go dig out the old Audio Archives...

There is an ALD source and a mix that includes the ALD.

I heard Corduroy (I think, I don't remember so I'm just going with Corduroy) from this show the other day on XM. I changed the station to 22, didn't look, but heard the music and thought to myself, "my God, this band sounds good, especially Ed".

Was this Matt's first show? Sounds like it would be a good one to release from the vault (at the rate they're going, that's wishful thinking).

This is on Sirius XM and it sounds SO GOOD why?!

Why does Matt suck now.

Guys they played Given to Fly and it wasn't at 8x speed.

Ed sounds AMAZING.

Why does he sound so good in this year?

Its PHENOMENAL.

His growling is in pitch mostly, his singing is so clear...

wow

I hadn't checked the ol' RM Pearl Jam page for a while, so thought I'd swing by and see what has developed. Unfortunately, I departed said page in order to avoid having to read any more mikejasond posts.

So, I click over to the live page, just thinking that maybe there was a new RM compilation to take a listen through.....

And I see a thread that I started like over two years ago. "Well," I thought, "this is cool." I remembered that I now have the latest physical, and official, vault release with this exact same show. I think about how it was released after i posted this thread and I wonder who may have provided a response to the thread to create the message board bump?

Read, scroll, read, scroll, read, click to next page, repeat.... holy shit. Mikejasond has spread like a viral disease without borders.

Today's Sirius XM offering (I use the online player so I can go back to the beginning of the 2PM concert whenever I check in in the afternoon)

I really like the 1998 shows. Eddie sounds very good this year.

Oceans opens and man though, I don't think Eddie ever sounds good on this song. Even in his best years. Good song on the album. But he never quite nails it. And sometimes its really bad.

Dang...there was a show just later from THIS SAME MONTH that I was raving about in one of these topics.

But man...this isn't off to a great start.

Matt's Hail Hail is awful, heavy, plodding.

Overall, this is a really solid show. That version of Brain is great. Habit, Immortality and Fuckin' Up are standouts as well.

I was thinking when they started Habit for some reason that it fit better than I expected it to. I don't really like Habit but for some reason when they went into it it just felt right.
