The directing in Star Wars Ian of something we ever really talk about though. Given that George pretty much did them all other than empire, where he removed himself almost completely. He pretty much directed ROTJ by proxy. Marquand followed all his instructions.

What do we think the chances are that they coax JJ back to wrap this thing up?

I'd rather Rian. Without even having seen TLJ.

SPEILBERG!!! Would be amazing. I'm Vilneuve or Edgar Wright or Favreau

It'll be interesting to see when they announce a replacement. Will they wait until December to see how TLJ is received by critics/fans/the box office in case?

The timing is bizarre. But in a way get this out now. Let TLJ blow our heads off. Better now than after maybe.

Can't lie. I'm happy he's out too.

Thinking the rewrite for 9 following carries death might have been where the fracture started.

yea this excites me. I have not really enjoyed his films and thought hiring him after Jurrasic World was a really bad call.

Did Trevorrow write Jurassic World? Because honestly, most of the problems there were with the script.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
