NO NO NO
Were you saying no to my question or my statement or both? If one or the other, why the extra 2 nos? If both, why the extra no?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I'd like to see JJ finish it. Yeah, yeah. Derivative. Whatever. I had a blast at The Force Awakens. The plot may not have been original, but his choices made the characters instantly lovable. Ultimately, that's what I care about. The lightsaber duels and space dogfights aren't shit if we don't care about Rey, Finn, and Poe.

I wouldnt be opposed to this either. He understands what I loved about Star Wars. Right now Rian Johnson is intriguing me greatly and after the release of Last Jedi i might change my vote to him.

Treverow was always a bad choice.

This will be interesting. An Abrams/Johnson collab would probably be best.

Honestly I doubt Trevorrow's movie would have been much worse than TFA

How old are you, LV?
Not rhetorical. Just curious. You seem impervious to nostalgia, but I wonder if you're so young that what you feel nostalgia for what has not yet come back around. TFA was like sharing my childhood with my children. It was my favorite cinema experience since The Last Crusade when I was 13.

I'm 28 and I grew up with Star Wars. They are some of my earliest memories. Thy defined my childhood. That has nothing to do with TFA being a terrible movie.

Is it time for a female director to step in?

Patti Jenkins?

Or Ava Duvernay.

They've between wanting her in the Star Wars family for a long time. JJ even went to her for character help in TFA.

I'd be all about am Ava Duvernay Star Wars film.

She actually had an important role in TFA. JJ showed it her and she told him to tighten this up and cut that add this. She could be a contender for sure.

I've no doubt they already have someone locked in. You don't make a firing announcement without having your replacement locked in.
