13... She's seen plenty of good concerts with us and has great taste in music... Also a great musician. She taught me how to play One on the guitar just last weekPHATJ wrote:That's awesome, man! Rattle & Hum is her favorite time period, so this should work out nicely.PHATJ wrote:I love U2, though admittedly haven't listened to the last album more than a few times. Joshua Tree through Atomic Bomb is spectacular. No Line has its moments. I'll be at the U2 show in Minneapolis on Friday. Beck is opening. I'm excited, it should be awesome. And I'm taking my daughter to her first show! Lucky kid.

For sure! Just beware... At age 10, those teenage tendencies may sneak up on you in a few years. They sure as hell took us by surprise earlier this year.PHATJ wrote:Iholdthepain wrote:13... I have two girls and a boy. Girls are 11 & 10, both with birthdays in October. I'm definitely aware that the teen years are coming soon. Not looking forward to the drama. My son will be eight in December, he doesn't worry me at all.

Completely lifeless. They really spent years on this album and this is their lead single?
Weakest U2 single ever.

Re: U2 Songs of Experience
I think most of their lead singles for their last half dozen albums have been weak. If anything, some have been my least favourite song on the album. e.g. that fucking Get on your boots song. Hated it.
