I'll have to listen to the whole album to form an opinion on these tracks. They're not doing too much for me now but I'm still very excited.

Heh, I like the new one a lot more on second listen. The chorus is pretty powerful.

I wasn't overly enthused by New York, but I'm really enjoying Los Ageless, and its existence has improved New York for me.

I loved New York from first listen. That one really cut me and has only gotten better with age. But if it's possible... I might like Los Ageless more. Holy shit, this song! It's infectious, melodic, crunchy, propulsive, gritty and shiny all at the same time. The chorus is brutal. That bridge! That bridge is one of my favorite things Annie has done so far.

This is already far exceeding my expectations and calming any fears I may have had. I can not WAIT for this record.

I've listened to Los Ageless eights times so far today. And I've liked it more with each listen, too. I think this album is gonna have some serious legs.

Excited to announce my new album MASSEDUCTION is out 10/13. Pre-order now and download “Los Ageless” and “New York” instantly.

If you bought a ticket(s) to a St. Vincent show this Fall in the US (except Boston, Indianapolis, and Detroit) your ticket comes with a digital copy of her new album. Check your email for redemption instructions. Act now and you’ll receive two tracks (New York + Los Ageless) instantly.
Well that sucks.
Why am I getting screwed on this?
Wait, what?

Oh. I didn't know what he was talking about. I thought he was talking about... never mind. Doesn't matter.

Pete, it's available. You can hear the song all over the place. Pre-order the album you get the downloads right now, too.

Listened to Los Ageless three more times this afternoon, back to back to back. It's becoming one of my absolute favorite St. Vincent tracks.

I get that. I think living in the midwest for so long made me impervious to stuff like this, though.

Also, I'm probably not going to listen to these songs much until the album comes out. Because that's how I typically do this. I barely listened to the staggered Mynabirds releases and just waited for Be Here Now to drop formally.

Oh totally. I haven't listened to New York in a little while. And after today I'm going to give Los Ageless a rest. And I'm not going to listen to anything else from the album until I have it in my hot little hand. But based on the two tracks we've heard so far... my expectations are through the roof.

i'm just not crazy about the chorus, the rest of the song i like though. it's definitely a specific mood type of song. i'm not gonna just randomly put it on and dig into it.
