That didn't go at all like I thought it would. I'm not surprised, per se, because I know this Chiefs team is capable of exactly what they showed. I just wish they could be more consistent and perform like this in the post-season.

Anyway... I always hate seeing players go down. Here's to a swift and productive recovery to all players who were hurt last night. It's the worst part of the game. Good luck to the fallen on both sides of the ball.

I got three hours of sleep last night and my voice is shredded but it was worth it.

How about that Kareem Hunt, huh? I know he's not going to do that every week.... but man! He could really be something special. So glad I picked him up in FF keep league.
Great game! Well said. Congrats, you were right on about the Chiefs and their success on Thursdays. May we meet again in the playoffs.... :)

The Patriots are going to have to look long and hard at the tape on this one and figure out a way to cheat their way out of this 0-1 hole they are in.

I love watching a good Any Reid game since he left the Eagles, and this is one of the best he's called.

The Chiefs trolling the Pats with the all the Aaron Hernandez plays to Kelce kept making me laugh as well.
And don't forget he fumbled his first carry. That could land you in a lot of coaches dog house for weeks! When Reids game plans work... they REALLY work.

It should be Marvin Lewis, but Mike Brown's too cheap to pay him for doing nothing even for a few weeks left on his expiring contract.

With 2 minutes left in the night game, Stafford is the only QB with more than 2 TD passes today (and no RB had multiple TDs). My oh my.

I understand player health and injuries, but combine fewer practices and starters not playing in preseason games and this shit is basically unwatchable.

Also, only 3 100-yard receivers on the day.

Given that they use preseason as a 4 week tryout now the first several weeks of the year look like this.

The Ringer did a few pieces last year on how the contract structure of young guys in the NFL is leading to a lot of younger, less experienced teams and how that could, possibly, lead to a rougher product in the future. It all just seems to have come to a head this weekend; I imagine things will level out in the weeks to come.

Every college running the spread offense doesn't help either.

It's the NFL, so it's not like it really matters. I'd say 50 percent of NFL "fans" are completely clueless as to the quality of the football they are watching.

It's a casual fan league and many of the die-hards could probably care less as long as their team gets the win.

I'm not a MLB fan, but I have to give credit where credit is due. Their fans are about 1,000 percent more knowledgeable than NFL fans.

I agree with your general statement, but I will say, baseball is a much easier sport to understand for the average person. It is easier to quantify performance and to make comparisons.
