Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

There's some pretty good songs on S/T but I think it's clearly the weakest STP album.

Im always back and forth with that idea..sometimes i think N4 is their weakest, sometimes ST.

I have actually felt similarly, but the highs on No.4 are better than S/T. Glide, Atlanta & Down are all better than the best S/T has to offer.

That is a good one. I also like Take a Load Off, Fast As I Can, and Maver quite a bit.

Nice to see First Kiss on Mars get some love here,I honestly thought i was the only one who liked it

Self titled is definitely better than it gets credit for but it is probably the weakest of their albums

I think both Shangri-LA-DEE-DA and S/T exhibit a massive drop in quality from their previous releases. There's a handful of good songs on the former ("Dumb Love" is awesome), but I don't return to anything except "First Kiss on Mars" from the latter.

Yeah, thats true.

Still what a wonderful collection of albums they have if ST is their weakest.

Dude, Shangri-La might be their best album.

Oh I totally agree. STP is in my top five favorite bands of all time.

"The Way She Moves" has not been leaked, but the other two have (I heard them a long time ago.) I think they used to be on belowempty.com, but not anymore.

Here's a bit of info on each one:
http://www.belowempty.com/sia.php?do=sh ... _she_moves
http://www.belowempty.com/sia.php?do=sh ... er_whisper
http://www.belowempty.com/sia.php?do=sh ... ve_me_away

EDIT: Looks like "You Can't Drive Me Away" was eventually released on the True Blood soundtrack. Not sure if re-recorded or what.

And here's an article from when the songs leaked in 2004:

Thanks man. I'll check these plus the Shangri-La 2 outtakes out. I'm not a fan of No4 so I'll see.

Cool interview. I hope they get more demos and stuff from the other albums.
This makes me sad thinking about what could have been if Weiland just got his shit together. They were (are?) such a great band. Even the EP with Chester was very good and I thought his vocal style fit the music very well. I'm just bummed out that we haven't gotten more from these guys.
