just found this after going to bugs band which was pretty good. think this is more my speed tho. although the band bugs had kind of scratched the surfing vibe I was imagining.

Poseidotica. Really cool mix of prog, sludge-metal, thrash and jazz. Listen to the full song, as it takes a few left turns.

Pez. Meat-and-potatoes hard rock but really fucking well done. Aggressive without being too abrasive, technically proficient without being show-offy.

Violenta Josefina. Not exactly sure if this will be your bag, but I think it's great. Shoegazey, dream-poppy stuff with a bit of a punk edge. Also the singer is the sweetest person on Earth
