Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Looks like this NFL thing is gonna work out real well for him.
I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.

It's working exactly the way he intended. Causing more and bigger divides and rousing people to call for the crushing of free speech and right to protest. Stupid people but he's got them riled up just like he planned.

It is keeping his name out there and satisfying his base. As long as he is getting good coverage on Fox News he is happy.

Funny but scary the amount of people says by those players are disrespecting American values and what all the troops fought for. Missing the points entirely.

It's less interesting than Jared's email woes, tbh, but is yet another piece of the awkward race conversation we are going to have to have after this is all over.

This is par for the course around here. Americans inherently believe that the worst thing you can do with the freedom to protest is actually use it.dimejinky99 wrote:Funny but scary the amount of people says by those players are disrespecting American values and what all the troops fought for. And also that the government is coming for their guns.

Don't these football players understand that we expect them to damage their bodies for our entertainment? It's way less entertaining when we have to imagine them having thoughts and feelings and shit.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

They'd give they're lives to defend the second amendment but lose their minds if anyone tries to use the first. Truly brainwashed.

I’ve never been one of those people who say they’re going to leave the country because whoever is the president. They come and go. Lately it’s some of my fellow Americans that are making me think about cashing everything in and going somewhere else.dimejinky99 wrote:Funny but scary the amount of people says by those players are disrespecting American values and what all the troops fought for. My mom is really mad about the football players kneeling, on account of how disrespectful it is to veterans; she never watches football but has announced a boycott of the NFL, a declaration she shared on Facebook while my dad -- who is an actual veteran -- was in the other room watching the Bears.
It's no wonder we are where we are.

Does it count as boycotting if I never went out of my way to watch an NFL game? Am I boycotting right?
