Had a Goose Island bourbon county stout today..couldnt handle more than a few sips of the stuff..actually scored 100 on beer advocate

What vintage? Fresh I found it way too hot though a few did help me get through Thanksgiving dinner with family. Still have one that I am letting sit for a while.

Sure. I personally go cheaper if I'm pounding a sixer but some people would have no problem with it.

Ive never understood the fascination with the cost some people seem to have with craft beer and it's cost. If you can afford it, buy it. If you think it's too expensive? Dont buy it. Go buy 15 bud lights for 10 bucks. And to some people, bud light's too expensive, so they buy Busch or Natty.

$20 buys you 2 beers at a baseball game. It gets you 12 beers if you're paying 10 for a sixer. It costs more, but if you're going to enjoy it that much more, then it's worth it.

No doubt. It has to do with the taste, balance and drinkability of the beer.

I don't know. I mean, when you can get a good beer with a higher alcohol content at the same or even a lower price, it does kinda defeat the purpose of a session beer to me.

It depends on the beer. I drink craft beer mainly for the taste so ABV isn't that much of a concern except for how it affects the taste and balance of the beer. I've had 4.5%ers that taste just as good as a lot of big beers out there.

Beer comes in all sorts of price tags. Hell, sometimes ABV doesnt matter. Hopslam is a hell of a session beer.

So Green Flash is opening a brewery south of VA Beach in Sandbridge. I just drove by the sign. I Wonder if the prices on the East Coast will come down or if we get 6 packs again

Doubtful, the break they get from East Coast distribution will fill in to the main for the losses found in the middle of the country. My opinion of course.
