Not at all. But I mean... you replaced the word "deadliest" with "biggest". "Deadliest" may seem on the surface like sensationalizing, but it's more descriptive and accurate than "biggest".

I think these kinds of things are more of a concern when they come at the expense of accuracy, and, while I agree it happens far too often in the media, I don't think that's really the case here. There are stories where that kind of language is appropriate.

Is this the first mass shooting with, basically, an automatic weapon? If so, is it evidence that the laws that make it so difficult to obtain/modify such a weapon kinda worked?

Its tricky, guns laws in the US won’t stop many criminals from “common murder”, that such a concept would exist shows you how f*cked we are here, but in this case I think it would be fair to say you would be right in stating those laws have limited this type of mass killing event.

The idea that a random citizen would ever need even one of the dozens of guns this guy had makes no sense to me. We are well past the point where any we regulated militia could fight the government and it is past time to prohibit the mass manufacture and sale of these weapons.
