I saw the pilot and the second episode is on DVR, probably watch it tonight. It's got a great critical buzz but going to have to see a few more before I can commit to it. I'm usually tougher to get into a habit of watching hour dramas than half hour sitcoms.
The first half of The New Girl's first season was extremely up & down but I think it's been consistently one of the better network comedies in the past year and a half.

I was bored out of my mind watching that pilot. Let us know if the next few eps redeem it.

Stick with it. I finished it over the weekend and it's great.
Watched all of Series 1 of Canadian/BBC Sci-Fi show "Orphan Black". Starts slow but ends well. The plot is pretty well thought out and it had some decent twists for a budget show.
Would have liked it better if I hadn't watched it using FIOS on-demand which inserts commercials in to the shows, the exact same two commercials during every break through the whole series, like some unkillable pop-up ad. And for some reason they run a trailer before the first episode which spoils the dramatic opening sequence.

I watched the whole thing. Kinda wish I hadn't. It was okay. Definitely didn't think it was great.
