It's pretty slow. It's kinda surprising how much ground it covers over the course of the movie. There is much more world building in this one.

I can't remember if there was voiceover. I dont think so, but I seem to remember a few lines spoken by characters over other scenes.

Oh man. As a big fan of the original, I was worried about this. But this was beautiful. Very slow pace but is done well. And just enough paying homage to the original. Mostly with the score/soundtrack. I loved this, will need another couple viewings to pick up on and appreciate some smaller details.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Trag see it on Imax if you can. Its a whole different experience. I was blown away. Harrison Ford is a legend, the score is great, the photography and designs are out of this world. Incredible movie, ill go maybe tomorrow again.
Spoiler: show
I loved everything, but the thing i love the most was their response to Deckard being a replicant or not: It doesnt matter.

For those that have seen it, I have one question:
Spoiler: show
Leto's character, was he in one of the other ships that went down towards the end, or did they just leave that character storyline unresolved?

Spoiler: show
I dont think they would have killed him off like that. I assumed they were just security guys. Plus they made a point to mention that the company would think Harrison Ford is dead, so Leto wouldn't still be looking for him.

Curious as to what LV thought of this. Can't remember if he is a fan of the original or not.

He didn't like the trailers, so he probably hated it.

Ehh I'm good. From what I've seen, I prefer the 2.39:1 framing in this case, anyway.
