Future Days should be replaced by Better Days.

practically every line in Johnny Guitar is sexual innuendo.

Stip's right, it's the most smutty they've ever been.

"...'cus for years I had been hoping that when she came, she'd be cumming for me."

That's deliberate, and it's repeated all over the "unhappy ending".

with a leg under a red dress I wish I could see
further north a warmth alive and lingerin'

That's utterly fantastic innuendo.

Something about this says "swamp creature" to me, though.

That's the grossest description of vagina I think I've ever heard. Add in Ed's Angst-o-meter and it makes for a very uncomfortable feeling. Which I think is the point.

this should have gotten the "cold concession" threatment...as in, write it, then never let anyone hear it.

it's a fine song (the bruce comparisons are spot on). but two things strike me about it.
1) if it built up any bigger than it does it would feel forced.
2) i'm hoping boom playing the intro & outro from now on changes it for the better.

It almost certainly will. The problem is he won't be playing it on the album version :shake:

maybe the touring band '13-'14 dvd will capture it well-enough.

"Johnny Guitar", a song for everybody who ever wanted to hear Eddie Vedder describe a vagina.

"A WARMTH ALIVE AND LINGERING".
