The point now is awareness. The point now is how to shift and transform this culture moving forward. The point is that silence is damaging and needs to end.VinylGuy wrote:Thats the doc right? Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
I get that, but at the same i cant help to think i dont really care about Polley or Paltrow or Fonda....I prefer to hear about Rose McGowan or Asia Argento has to say about it. They are the ones who have been dealing with this for years and didnt shut up...they other ones played ball with the industry for so long..its kinda weird to hear their stories.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Re: The Cinematic Motion Picture News Thread
That's all pretty nebulous, to be fair. It might be a whole lot of nothing, though some people talk about it being "an open secret" in the comedy world like the Weinstein thing was "an open secret" in Hollywood. At least there's little enough information that we can all talk ourselves out of feeling bad for liking his stuff until more damning info comes out.
