Why would you listen to backspacer when the War on Drugs are out there?

I'm sure it is. It's more about laziness. I never listen to music on my computer. I don't have good speakers. I don't want to go through the hassle of downloading it and figuring out how to transfer it to my phone. I already like the album well enough. I don't want to go through all that trouble.
Same, I don't even own a computer at home. My computer at work has decent speakers, but is used primarily for background noise while I work.
I'm hardly ever even on my computer at home unless I'm writing. The music I listen to is either vinyl or through headphones on Spotify, but usually that's on the go. When I'm home it's almost exclusively vinyl.
you heard him, stip, he wants you to press this to vinyl
See 'snatch gets it, I don't know why no one else does.
send me your phone. I'll load it up and send it back. Couldn't be simpler!
What's your address? Or is it easier if I email my phone to you?

You are a mess.

Then i would counter with why should we listen to backspacer when we already had pearl jam and not this watered down juiced version of pearl jam without all the nutrients?

I listened to that war on drugs album with red eyes (which is a pretty cool song) but I was kind of disappointed.

I’d really like to give this a listen but it’s not happening on my iPad or phone. So I’ll probably never hear it either. Whatevs.

I made them just for fun, since never really like Backspacer.

Just to clarify:

These mixes were created based on stems provided in Reddit. There were isolated drums, bass, voice and guitars. The problem is that some guitar parts were mixed with other instruments or voices, so I had to cut some parts from here and there to match them during the missing parts (or parts I didn´t like).

I insist: I didn´t like some Boom´s contributions in this record, so I replace them or scratched the best I can (not all of them)

I really think that if I give some time to these stems, it could sound really well.

It started like an experiment. That´s why you can notice differences (for example) in Force of Nature or Unthought Know, since those were the last mixes I worked on, and Johnny Guitar or The Fixer the first ones... Once I got better results with last songs, I was too lazy to re-work on the first ones, so I just left them as they were...

Maybe one day I re-work everything again, just for fun. If I do, of course I will share it.

Regards

PS: I have a few others PJ´s songs from TEN, but nothing really worth sharing.
So...did you find time for the stems?

ATW is good. Took me a long while to come around on it though. Understanding that"he" only feels like he put away his early grave when up amongst the waves, but ultimately still doomed, helped me appreciate it more.

Guys, it's ok to not like every Pearl Jam song. You don't have to talk yourselves into liking AtW just because Pearl Jam.

Amongst the Waves comes alive with headphones - a lot of atmosphere in those verses.
