also walked into a pawn shop yesterday and walked out with 3 PS3 games and 2 PSP for $18.

Medal of Honor
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Twisted Metal: Head-On (PSP)
Motorstorm: Arctic Edge (PSP)
I finally beat Arkham City last week. Not sure why I waited so long, I got it on day one. It's great, but I think I liked Arkham Asylum more.

Excited for Arkham Origins.

i love this game!
i just started playing the Game Of The Year edition since I hadn't played any of the dlc before. it's probably one of my favourite games and i find it has a lot of replay value
Tried to start Oblivion: GOTY, but keep coming back to Fallout. I'm on the Mothership now, and the only issue I'm running into is slow framerates. Hopefully it'll clear up when I'm back in the Wasteland.

i dunno i recall finding Arkham Asylum a little tedious. the combat was limited and got very repetitive after a while. Arkham City has an almost overwhelming amount of different moves and weapons to use in combat. The side missions are pretty good too.

I played the shit out of Fire Emblem: Awakening. Never really had the desire to replay it, but it had me hooked for a solid month or so.

what else have you been playing on the 3DS?
I've got some other games I haven't spent a lot of time with, but after Fire Emblem I'll probably play Tales of the Abyss. I also have Metal Gear Solid 3d that I've been meaning to play through again, along with Resident Evil Revelations.

yup, my one big problem with the game is the constant glitches/freezes/slow-downs.. i've lost a lot of progress because the game will suddenly freeze

there is always New Vegas to play after you're done. I love the hardcore mode in that one.

I can't remember. I know you had to sleep, eat and drink and you had to see a doctor if you broke your arm or something. I liked the realism. It still wasnt that hard though.

This looks absolutely ridiculous. I must have it.

PS3?

the freezes were incredibly infuriating. for me it almost always happened while walking the wasteland so i would save often when travelling long distances.

Yeah, PS3 for me. Things got better in general after I finished the mothership, but I still do have slowdowns in the wasteland; usually it's when I'm near a new location and it's loading a bunch of enemies.

I tried to play it on my PS3 but all of the glitches made me give it up. I haven't touched Skyrim either for the same reason.

I didn't find Skyrim glitchy at all. ok maybe a few weird clipping glitches but that's to be expected for a game that size.

Maybe they fixed some of the problems. I know a lot of people who had freezing problems as they progressed through the game.

kinda feeling like I am in a gaming rut. I've mostly been playing animal crossing for an hour each day, but not much else. I have DLC of skyrim to play, but I am just not feeling it. I never played the Mass Effect series and did notice the trilogy at gamestop today, but ultimately decided against it for now.

The Last of Us is really good. A gaming rut in the summer is not uncommon. Not a ton of new stuff coming out. Check out the bargain bins for games you may have missed the first time around.

i'm probably just being thick-headed, but the Last of Us never appealed to me. Zombies and escort missions are some of my least favorite things.
