Same, especially with 22 minute episodes.

Yep. I really dig the show. But sometimes it's nice to binge it, too. I like having a few to catch up on.

dime is actually very right on this weeks. It really took huge steps to showing the evolution of the rebellion mindset. And some fantastic Chopper stuff.

I watched the first two last night. Seemed like pretty standard Rebels episodes.

The first two are very disappointing given that we were promised every episode this season would really bring it. Even the mandalorian fans out there thought them both poor.

Thankfully the latest two really step up and deliver a huge amount for the series and for tying it into rogue one and establishing the rebellion as a fractured entity at this point

The last two finally drove the story forward. First two were basically filler but better filler episodes than the previous seasons.

They still need to ramp up things. I would like to see these characters in dire situations. Running out of time.

I know it's a cartoon but some these people need to die. Way too many close escapes over the seasons.

Also, some really great animation in that scene where Sabine threw the smoke grenades and they were sneaking up on the guards in the cargo room.

I thought the smoke/explosions in the first two episodes looked very good. I streamed the first few seasons through that random site, so I'm not used to such fidelity!

Episodes are up for this week and both are quiet good.

Spoiler for the latest one. I have no idea what it means but
Spoiler: show
the wolf says Dume to Ezra. Kanan's real name is Caleb Dume. But nobody knows that. Maybe Hera. Certainly not Ezra. Why would the wolf of all things know that? So perhaps it’s doom for Dume and he’s telling Ezra kanan is gonna die but Ezra has no way of knowing it

All caught up. Good episodes.

Outside of that idiotic scene
Spoiler: show
Where Thrawn stares down the Defender and fires his blaster at it, a la The Joker in Burton's Batman
I thought these last two were really interesting. This whole season has been strong so far.

aww man, that moment between Hera and Kanan was great, especially if you've read "A New Dawn".

I'll say it again... if Ahsoka is that wolf, I'm gonna lose my shit.

Read my spoiler above about the wolf.

This is where filoni makes me nervous. Spirit animals and cute cats. Just too flaky for Star Wars. He has recently hinted that he may be producing either in the small or big Screen and that he’s learned from the best. I hope it’s a harder non kid focused live action series but let’s see.
