well the worst curb episode this season is better than any other comedic TV show in the last 5 years. i'm excluding dramedy shows like Atlanta, Louie, etc.

That's not even remotely close to true. Episode 2 was good, 1 was awful. 3 was okay. And like Jorge said... 4 was weird.

I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Agreed. I love all things Mike Judge, but this is getting stale fast. I mostly blame the Richard Hendricks character; the actor is annoying AF, and his character's arc is shitty. They should have killed him off and let Danesh, Gilfoil, Erlich, Jared, and Jin Yang fight over the remains of Pied Piper.
I said "last 5 years" and wasn't specifically referring to the last season of SV or VEEP.

It is really good. I think you'd like it a lot.

This latest season hasn't been that great but it's not bad. They're probably just rusty after 7 years off the air or however long it was

I liked last night's episode enough as typical Curb but the Revolutionary reenactment got a bit too convoluted for me.

Finished season six on my rewatch today.

Season 1: Don't think I have ever seen this season before. Despite that, this may have been the least enjoyable on my rewatch. The last episode, The Group, was a standout though. Larry helps an ex, by joining her survivors of incest group. Controversial and hilarious, the way humour should be.

Season 2: Loved this season. I believe I saw it when it was new in the very early 2000s. Still remembered several of the episodes well. The Doll still caught me by surprise. Difficult to explain, but I was rolling around on the couch in part embarrassment and part laughter.

Season 3: Wonderful season, that I had fond memories of. Curb had really hit its stride here. It felt like the one season where all the key characters found their place, and where the production felt just right. The Krazee-Eyez Killa episode, is one of my all time favorites.

Season 4.: This I only remembered a few episodes from when doing the rewatch. The Car Pool Lane and Opening Night were great episodes, and the scenes with the hooker in the car and at the stadium once again had me laughing out loudly. Really nice seeing Mel Brooks have an important part this season.

Season 5: I had seen most of this from before, but still had weaker memories of it, than from earlier seasons. The Ski Lift was easily the best episode of the season, absolutely top class.

Season 6: I remembered this so vividly, it constantly felt like rewatching something I recently saw. I love the episodes where Nick Nervies played an important part, I felt Daryl brought out a different side of Larry. Favorite episode of the season was The Ida Funkhouser Roadside Memorial.

Season 7: I don't actually think I have ever seen this, which is going to make it extra interesting for the next few days. Looking forward to seeing the Seinfeld cast.

Season 8: I highly enjoyed this when it came out, although I think I missed a couple of episodes. Look forward to completing the set here.

Season 9: Here I will finally get with the times.

Finished season 7. I had never seen a single minute of this season. I don't even know why. It was on tv in 2009, years after I became a Curb fan. I lived where I live now, worked a similar job, but somehow it never entered my mind to see it at the time. The eight season was in 2011, and I've seen that one. Anyway, season 7 had some fun episodes. The main Seinfeld episode about the reunion and the Denise Handicapped episodes were the best. Really enjoyable. Now I'm looking forward to rewatching season 8, and especially the Palestinian Chicken and Larry vs. Michael J. Fox episodes.

I feel like this, sorta

They've really gone out of their way to make Larry a total unbearable asshole this season. I don't remember feeling like this when I rewatched it last time. He was always oblivious and obstinate and selfish but there's a certain something this time around... an air of malice that I never really felt before

(I have not watched the latest episode)
