I was a tad underwhelmed by the S1 wind down. And then I cut cable. So... But I will. I'll check it out. There was enough to like about the show despite the last couple of episodes to keep me interested.

S2 is harder than one, but ultimately it pays off big time.

I hope so. I think:
Spoiler: show
She was just thinking that if she takes down E-Corp, all of her anger about her mom dying will be gone and it will be like it never happened.

I remember being underwhelmed by the second season. I need to watch these first few episodes.

The jarring change in Elliot's environment made it hard to get into, but it got better, and ultimately makes sense from a narrative perspective.
Spoiler: show
I am disappointed in the season ending plot points in terms of the E Corp plot line. That seemed really forced. I love the Chinese hacker element though.

it's very apparent now season 2 had to happen to have season 3 the way it is now.

I'm sure that's the case. The final half was better than the first.

Just finished S3:01... and wow. Great start. I loved the scientist's talk in the nuclear facility during the beginning "infinite versions of myself" being complemented by Elliot's self-actualization and with Angela's talk about "making it like none of it ever happened". It creates a world where the narrative can turn on a dime and still feel true, something S2 had problems with.

This show really stands out in a TV world of good, but not great shows. It takes chances, it gets weird, it is shot incredibly well, etc.
