As if anyone here would be worries about me:)

I really like this show. Only have the final two episodes to go. It does take quite a few episodes to get going but once it does it’s quality. Some great performances too. The chemistry between the two leads is great. Really natural and believable. I hope it gets more seasons.

Watched the first episode last night. Didn't think the acting was that great from the main guy but I dig the concept and overall vibe. Excited to watch more.

That's good. His delivery was very wooden. Seemed like he was reading off cue cards or something in some scenes. I get it that he's an FBI stiff, but still.

Heard today that Fincher only directed the first four episodes. That would explain the jump to some degree.

I thought the season was uniformly strong. The most interesting thematic elements aren't even really explored until the last few episodes.

tragabigzanda wrote:Just finished this. Very good show, but the first half of the season was way better than the second half. Those last 3-4 eps were pretty weak, though I liked the ending with Ed Kemper.
I kind of agree with this. First half was way more interesting.

After three false starts of my wife falling asleep three consecutive nights watching episode 2 I think she is hooked. On to episode 3!

This was great.

Im assuming this will get picked up to a second season. Beside the wonderful psychological introspect of the serial killers, i really enjoyed watching this BSU thing come to fruition and wonder how much fact played into the development of this show.

Finished this last night.
Spoiler: show
I thought the tape/redaction subplot was a little too "TVy" for the show. Wasn't exactly thrilled with the ending scenes either.
I'd give the first season a B+/A- or so. Season 2 can go in a lot of different places.

So...
Spoiler: show
Holden is also a psychopath? I mean I think there have been some hints about this throughout the show. And he got some sort of panic attack at the end? Maybe he at some level realized this, if not rationally, at least emotionally. Anyways I think we might learn more about his background in the next season.
