Welp, I can safely assume I'm going to get like half a day's work done today, because I'll be glued to the Manafort news. I'm sure this will develop at a rapid pace as the day goes on, but for now I think we can safely come to one of two conclusions, based on the fact that today's indictments aren't for a lesser-known player, and the scope of the charges:

1. Either Mueller has hit a road block and he needs to start putting the squeeze on people to get them to cooperate;

2. Or, from an evidence standpoint, the buck stops with Manafort, and Mueller knows it's in the best interest of the country to wrap this thing up.

I'm interested to know what the maximum term Manafort is looking at for his charges. No way do I see him shouldering a life sentence for Trump.
