Yeah, reviews have been uniformly stellar. I am a lot more jealous now that I know the whole game doesn't take place in "the real world."
There's just something so incredibly special about a mainline Mario game. Really captures the joy and essence of what makes video games such a unique medium.
Ugh. How much is a Switch again?
$299.99

I've seen some Mario Bundles as well. May be some Black Friday deals too.
+ Pro Controller
+ Zelda

It's worth every penny.

Yeah, it really is. I adore the system. So easy to use and its portability is huge for my lifestyle right now. Needs minor updates to the online store and virtual console. Then it would be perfect.

All sorts of new PS4 trailers dropped today. TLOU2 is the highlight, I think:

I'm waiting to watch all of these until I get home (4k baby!). I sure hope this means TLOU2 is closer than we thought ( I predict Spring 2019).

I really don't want to be considering buying a Switch but here I am.

It's essentially replaced the Vita as the go to place for quality portable indie games. Plus, it has Nintendo exclusives.

No 4k option though LV.

Yup. The game releases really dried up last fall.

Some good deals just went live on PSN, including Horizon Zero Dawn for $27. I'm gonna pass on that for now, because I still have to finish MGSV and Uncharted 3. But I am eyeballing Pro Evolution Soccer '17 at $14.

I've been tempted to pull the trigger on a few deals the past few weeks. I think I'll wait until Black Friday sales. They had some great ones last year on 2016 games. That's a good one for PES 17 though.

I would totally get Horizon Zero Dawn but MGSV is still eating up all my time as well. I'm like a stealth master at this point.

same. battlefront 2 comes out in a couple of weeks and i suspect that will take up a lot of my gaming attention....unless they fucked it up with microtransactions and loot crates.

Is Nintendo really gonna charge $20 a month for online?

And it was initially promised to include a free Virtual Console game with online features each month. Not sure what the finished product will offer though. They've been mum about it since Splatoon 2 dropped.

I'm loving it man. Best mechanics of any stealth game I've ever played by far.
