I love her as an artist, and her two middle albums are really good, but again I wouldn't enjoy listening to them from start to finish as much as Backspacer. I do think the top 4-5 songs on Extraordinary Machines would be better than the best songs on Backspacer.

I find that these periods post album announcement but pre release date, brings out the very best in RM in terms of laughs, but also brings out the very worst in terms of debate on previous releases.

The more RM keeps ripping on Backspacer the more I keep going back to it and the more I listen to it the more I realize that I actually like it. Thanks RM! Reverse psychology 101
