Or pee on hookers in an Russian hotel. Anyone could manufacture evidence of guilt or innocence in manner never before dealt with... light years beyond edited phone calls or Photoshop'd pictures.

That can already happen. I forget what podcast I was listening to - had to be NPR, now that I think about it - but there's Photoshop for video and audio now that can make anyone say or do anything. I imagine it's going to be used a lot in 2020, if not 2018.

Yeah, I was just pointing out that it could be used far beyond Hollywood. Anyone with sufficient audio/video of themselves available on the internet could be inserted into any situation and it would be impossible to decern the truth... as a society we are pretty unprepared for this. (a Trump pee tape being the most obvious example)
