I love both of these songs, but YTIGC is an old favorite.

I wish LZ had more songs like "That's the Way" and "Going to California." Those layered acoustics are lovely, and despite Plant's range I feel like this middle register is his sweet spot. Vote for "That's the Way."

This one's a toss up for me. Love both for different reasons. That's The Way is a perfectly captured recording. Love the accents throughout the song.

And, then there's YTIGC, which has some of my favorite Plant verse cadences, if that makes sense. The only knock on this song for me might be the chorus. It's a little too "church revivaly." A very small knock though.

Gonna go with YTIGC.

The studio version features Jimmy Page playing acoustic guitar in open G♭ tuning, pedal steel, dulcimer, and bass guitar while John Paul Jones plays mandolin. There is no presence of John Bonham's drums on the track, and light tambourine and bass guitar is added towards the end of the song.
