The subtext appears to be that Fox is content to double-down on a news/sports/broadcast identity while Disney to a large degree is all "Pssht, like we want THAT toxic brand, just give us the movies."

Maybe the dream of a fully complete "Skywalker Saga" Box Set (that includes Episodes I-III, both the original theatrical versions of IV-VI AND the Special Editions of IV-VI and Episodes VII-IX) all in 4K isn't totally dead. Which is fantastic. I'd shit myself if we could get that.

More importantly they'd get the X-men back.

I'm not totally sold that, as an X-fan, this is such a good thing at this point. They will be the B-team to Tony and the Avengers. Not to mention the way Marvel has joked everything up to the 100th degree. And Marvel doesn't seem to know how to make a good villain. Sure Fox screwed up with Apocalypse, but they've pretty much nailed Magneto in every movie.

That being said, Storm, and the Black Panther would be awesome.

A Captain America / Wolverine movie would also be awesome.

I'm probably the only one who cares but the Fantastic Four under Disney would make me pretty happy. It would be really easy to wrap them into the MCU.

If they buy Fox then that's going out the window immediately. Like, we get two per quarter.
