Could be. I'm just wondering why the figures are edited out. Or seemingly edited out. Blow up the pic. You can see where there should be arms and heads sticking out of those robes. At least, that's how it looks to me. But there is nothing there. It's like they're hiding something they don't want to reveal yet. I just wonder what it is. Or maybe I'm seeing the image wrong.

The black robes with the seemingly blue eyes?

Yes. But is that a reflection? A lens flare? Actual eye? I can't tell. And it may be nothing at all. It could just be a weird shot that I'm taking too much time on. Just think it's interesting.

The scene in the rain. Luke is training Rey. The Knights of Ren and Kylo attack. They want to kidnap Rey. There is a battle. Somehow Kylo gets the best of Luke. He tells Luke that he's going to take the girl to Snoke and that together they'll build something more powerful than he could possibly image. Luke delivers his "this won't go the way you think" line to Kylo. Rey starts to intervene but decides to willingly go with Kylo to Snoke.

Yep I’m thinking something along those lines too. It’s definitely not happening as portrayed in the trailer. Not a chance. It’s baffling to me that so many Star Wars fans I know who know their stuff are saying it is happening like that. Not a chance.

But if it IS happening that way... I think that would be cool, too. That's what's so awesome about this movie for me. So far, I haven't seen any serious speculation that I can't really get behind. There are so many cool ways for this to play out.

I was 1000% sure this would be a thing the first time I saw TFA and championed it from day one but given what we think we know now about Luke hiding certain things from Rey and her leaving him to go to Snoke I’m almost certain this is a gravestone and it’s either her mother or parents.

The first time I read this sentence I thought you meant Luke helped. A little confused for a minute.
