I'm pretty sure his post said "don't drive drunk" at first, and the fucker edited it.LoathedVermin72 wrote:HALF!theplatypus wrote:Don't drink and drive
Sorry platypus, you're not a fucker, but I'm half drunk still.

What's the best live version of Sleight of Hand? Preferably one where the chorus sounds as heavy as it does on the album

Often when I run on the treadmill at home I search YouTube for a random Pearl Jam show and watch it on an iPad while I run. I came upon Toronto 2016 which I had forgotten they played Binaural. My planned 30 minute run lasted an hour as I could not let it go. Since then I have found a new appreciation for this album.

Listened to PJ for the first time in a while, and this album, while already a favorite, is just growing more and more in my estimation over time. This record has a build and an ominous sort of momentum to it than even my other favorite records by them don't seem to have. Vitalogy kind of collapses in on itself, while No Code and Yield kind of create a more relaxed feel in the latter half of the record, but the whole of Binaural just feels like it's moving towards its inevitable conclusion. Great record.
