^I sort of agree that he's definitely more outright nasty this season. However, I also happen to find that incredibly hilarious on a TV show. I'm trying not to overthink it, and just put it down to the fact that he's an old man now and so doesn't give a shit who he offends.

It's a different kind of Curb, I guess. But he's single and doesn't have Cheryl reigning him in somewhat and giving him constant grief about his behaviour. He still cracks me up.

Finally got to season nine. The ayatollah stuff in the first episode was amazing. So funny.

Now I’m fully up to date. I’ll agree that the worst scenes are the ones where Larry is just being an asshole. It’s a lot better when there is some subtlety to it. Still think it is a really entertaining show. Look forward to the last five episodes.

Binged watched this thin over the course of a few weeks. Prior to it, I would have said I'd seen at least 1/2 the episodes, but I was wrong. 1/4 was more like it. I'm all caught up now and just loving it. One of my favorite moments was Jerry's face when Larry asked that lady about her daughter's pussy. That was gold Jerry.

Yes, just one of many special moments in the entire run of the series. When Curb is at its best, it really shines. A bit like Seinfeld used to.

Last night was one of those great episodes where I really agreed with LD on pretty much everything. He was still a bit of an asshole but not in the random nasty way. Everyone was pretty great in this one.

I thought this past one was one of the better episodes this season too.

I'm really liking this season so far. I think maybe more so than 8.

This past week's episode was by far the best among a weak season so far. It reminded me of older Curb. Funkhouser had me dying a few times and the airplane bit was great

Yep, felt like vintage curb. Now acidental text on purpose is ruined for me though, since my wife also watches.

Good episode. Loved Larry's impression of Argo.

Richard Lewis has been great this season.

The best thing about last night's episode was a couple good cameos.
The scene with the Muslims at the end was ridiculous but they needed to end the fatwa storyline, which start promising but went nowhere.
