Easy vote for the Rain Song, one of their better slower songs

Bron-Yr-Aur is simple and sweet, The Rain Song is mind-numbingly boring.

I actually like having my mind numbed from time to time. This is an easy vote for "Rain Song."

The harmony in it is great -- a lot of cool chord changes that resolve in an eerie yet somehow very soothing and familiar way. It definitely took me a little while to "get" "The Rain Song" but it's probably my favorite on "Houses of the Holy" now.

Rain Song is such a good arrangement; feels almost classical. KD's makes a good point about that resolve. It releases the tension with a slither that I can't wait to hear every time I know it's coming.

JOJ did some stellar work on Rain Song. I appreciate him more and more as I grow older.
