Same, but I still can't put For Your Life ahead of it.
The "coquette coquette coquette" part alone is better than all of Kashmir. And Kashmir is awesome.
Joey, I love you so much but your Led Zeppelin opinions are at stip levels of wrong.

I just remembered Victory isn’t the P Diddy song that samples Kashmir...

Also Rage Against the Machine’s main riff in Wake Up is the Kashmir riff slowed down.

Here's another one you'll absolutely love...
Spoiler: show
Led Zeppelin isn't really all that interesting. Phenomenal musicians writing samey music that I really don't care for outside of like a dozen tracks. Even those I wouldn't rank among my favorites from their era. So see, my opinion doesn't really matter as far as this band is concerned. They aren't for me.

I can't believe Pete hates Kashmir. That's shocking.

I don't deify Zeppelin the way some do, but I like them more than Joey.

They're a great band that just do that much for me. When they hit, they hit hard, for sure. But so much of it just goes on and on and on and on. And when you're a listener that has a hard time getting lost in guitar or drum wankery, it can begin to feel tedious and samey.

I can appreciate why people love them, for sure. At least I can go that far. There are plenty of bands/artists that are just so far beyond me that I can't fathom why they have a following, let alone a God-like status. Zep is not one of those bands/artists.

I’m at least partially in the same boat with you, joey. I really love about a dozen or so Zep songs, I like another 10ish, the rest of the catalog does little for me. I own every studio album, and when I was in my late teens and early 20s I held the band in higher esteem. But somewhere along the line I lost most of my interest. A lot of these tournament songs I haven’t heard in 15+ years, but I can’t say my opinion has changed much with revisiting everything again.

LZ will always sound sort of generic and predictable precisely because literally thousands of bands have aped them in the years since. A lot of their blues riff songs are the ones I have the toughest time connecting with now, but the more epic numbers still slay.
