Whether or not a work of art is good or bad has precisely zero to do with whether or not the artist is a good person. This really isn't complicated. Policing your own taste because of social guilt is insanity.

If someone wants to make the personal decision of boycotting someone's works after something like this comes out, that fine. But when you start judging others for not joining you in what is essentially a (well intentioned, I'm sure) moral initiative, you turn a lot of people off, including many who might otherwise agree with you. Too often the SJW argument amounts to "you're either with us, or you're with the bigots."
