So I think we’ve just mapped out the conversation for the next two years.

Well..I need a cause to rally to I guess.

Why the fuck didn't you say you were in a tweet war with Jacob fucking Sirof? You "you people'd" the worst possible person.
Pfffft - sounds like he was just looking for something to get offended by

I’d be a stupid angry cunt if my parents let my cock get cut in half when I was a baby in fairness.

Yes, you just described Jacob Sirof to a T. See pretty much any episode of Doug Loves Movies that he's on for how much of an asshole he tries to be. He says the prequels are better than the OT ffs and that the new movies are nothing more than fan fiction. Which can be argued but he's such as asshat that I disagree with him out of spite.

The very least satisfying outcome is she is nobody. Seriously? This mad powerful force user was abandoned by her mystery parents and that’s the story? That’s going to take up as much time to explain who her parents were / how they died as any other outcome but will have none of the impact of her being Luke’s daughter or obi wans granddaughter. Either of those options would have all that tasty echoes and symmetry that is at the heart of Star Wars.

Have a go though.

It's a reference to one of the stories in the new Legends of Luke Skywalker book.

So The Tide is something that's only mentioned in the book? Because I've never heard of it before.

Different species around the galaxy have different names for the force and different ways of using the force. The tide it’s named by a species luke visits in that book and learns from them. Basically if you’re trying to use the force for good or evil you’re doing it all wrong. You have to let the force guide you. Basically Unlearn what you have learned. It’s quite a cool story.
