Did somebody at Netflix think this was the Star Trek music?

On Apple tv at least, and for a...while? Short while, not a long one.
You have to linger on a choice for something to play.

Weird. Must be specific to app versions; doesn't do it on my TV or 4K player. Seems like it'd be annoying.

Not when they pair the most banal Star Trek moments with Batman music it isn't.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Weird. Must be specific to app versions; doesn't do it on my TV or 4K player. Seems like it'd be annoying.

Next Gen is 10 years older now than the original series was when TNG debuted.

That is strange to think about. A bit like Pearl Jam and bands from the 60s.McParadigm wrote:https://timesmachine.nytimes.com/timesmachine/1987/10/05/414687.html?pageNumber=60&smid=tw-nytarchives&smtyp=cur

I think my favorite thing about Star Trek is when they play it so serious and dramatic but they're all in pajamas and only two members of the cast can act.

Re: Live Long and Prosper; the Trek Thread
Two things:
Deep Space Nine's best moments are really amazing, but it often surrounds them with little "eh but maybe we're just Farscape" scenes.
I often enjoy an episode of The Rifleman while I work out Saturday mornings, before anybody else wakes up (it's usually on around that time). But it's kind of amazing to me that only three years separate the end of that show and the start of TOS.
