Originally from an early episode I think. Or the pilot?

I am very interested in watching the Snyder version of this movie. The worst parts are the Whedonisms. Example:
Superman, to Batman: "You don't even like me."
Batman: "I don't... NOT like you."

Also a very ugly looking film at parts.

I can't deny that there are a few parts I really enjoyed. The battle between the amazons and Steppenwolf was very cool, and a fight between Superman and... someone else I won't name because it might be a spoiler

I think the second worst thing to happen to this movie is the studio mandated running time. It suffers from Nolan-style ﹰBatman ﹰBegins editing. Just relentless

I don't know where I'd rank this k comparison to Thor Ragnarok. It didn't make me as mad as that movie did. But it made me sad instead.

I think the biggest problem for me is that once you get beyond batman and superman, the DC heroes are just so lame.

I mean, seriously, who gives a shit about cyborg?

Who gave a shit about Thor 10 years ago? Ant Man?

Yeah, true, but cyborg just seems extra lame.

Unlike Suicide Squad, which died in the editing room using Ayer's footage, this movie was patched together using stuff Snyder didn't even shoot, so is a director's cut even possible in any realistic way?

By the way, we know this terrible exchange is from the reshoots because of Superman's CGI tumor lip.

It is actually kind of nice to have a very obvious visual indicator of when something is a reshoot

Ben Affleck is a great Batman and I will be sad to see him leave the role when it is inevitably announced in the next few months. He is really good in this. More of a petty asshole than in BVS.

One last thing: the way they bring back Superman is very creepy. And that's a story choice by Snyder, not a reshoots thing. Wish they would've gone with something different and less off-putting.

Or maybe it's good that they went with something so weird. I don't know. I'm still processing this bizarre movie.
