Oh shut up.
the chorus is a bit much
"Is this just another day, in this God forgotten place"
"First come love and then comes pain, let the games begin"
"It's already been sung, but it can't be said enough, all you need is love"
"Earthquakes making waves, trying to shake the cancer off, stupid human beigns"
"Cause to the universe I don't mean a thing and there is just one thing that I still belive and it's love"
"Is an art to live with pain, mix the light into gray"
"And the young, they can loose hope cause they can't see beyond today, a wisdom that the old can give away"
"Constant recoil, sometimes life won't leave you alone"

I love and can sympathise with all these lines.

EDIT: Although, using "Love Boat Captain" is pretty stupid.

But "no midle anymore, it's been said before" from Half Full is ok?

This I guess.

I never even noticed that lyric since that song doesn't really draw attention to its lyrics as much as LBC does. What is he even quoting? Porch? At least he's quoting himself I guess.

It's still not a good lyric but it doesn't make me as mad as the LBC one.

On top of just being bad the LBC positions itself as like a pivotal line. Maybe THE Pivotal line

im not sure it is quoting porch. The lyric in porch is referrring to something different than class war. that lyric may be referencing the next line.

rather than

no middle here anymore-it’s been said before.

it may be

no middle here anymore.
It’s been said before - the haves be having more...

Ah, I just assumed it was quoting something from him bringing it up in reference to the LBC line.

LBC's lyrics are cheesy but Pearl Jam is super fucking cheesy in general.

Exactly. It's quoting me. I famously said it in to my kindergarten class in 1985. Everybody knows that.
