For my own selfish desire to have more music, I hope both of these songs don't appear on the album. But, I do hope they see the light of day on another lost dogs compilation. I think the ones that eventually do come out will be modified quite a bit. For now, I'm more than happy to have these in my arsenal. Really digging them both.

I like these just as they are. On a new LD type compilation, I'm sure they'd be tweaked and polished and gussied up to a degree I'd be uncomfortable with. Like much of Lost Dogs, frankly. If they're on the new album, fine.

But, like you, I'd like these to be stand alone. If we ever do get "proper" or "newer" versions, I'll probably still listen to these more often.
