I hope everyone in this thread is big enough to admit the last Jedi is better than rogue one, if it is.
I’m hopeful and looking forward to Posting endless Nelson haha pics when it is.

Um... why wouldn't they admit it, if it is?

Yeah - just cause it was head and shoulders above The Force Awakens, doesn't mean people won't gladly admit it if The Last Jedi is better

If this is what you are worried about going in to TLJ, you are doing it wrong.

I'm more worried that I won't be able to admit that TLJ is bad if it is. I feel like I'll Phantom Menace that shit for months and just TRY to convince myself that it's awesome. I've got so much invested in it already!

That was renamed the rogue one effect a while back.

They're predicting mega rainfalls over the next couple of days in our state, so we'll be stuck indoors for most of it. Looks like a good opportunity to sit down with my kids and watch this again.

As a die hard SW fan I'm surprised you hate this one so much. I've seen every single one in theater on original release. Granted I don't really remember the first one. But R1 was at the top as far as experience and enjoyment for me.

Genuinely just kidding Ruddo. I’ve come around on this one a lot. It’ll never be my favourite but I appreciate it for being its own animal and bringing a whole lot of awesome to the Star Wars table. Particularly what it does for a new hope. Seriously good work to make a great film even better.

I think I will go back to this in years to come and it will only get better. A real gem in the franchise.

The last time I watched it, I really noticed how great the casting was in this.

I still think Forrest Whittaker was a let down in for Saw.

Yeah but he was a minor character, barely in the movie. I'm talking about the major players. Jyn, Cassian, Bodhi, Krennic were all so great in this.

They were. i just loved Saw and thought he should be a bit more prominent and better handled.
