I don't know. If these were simply 320 mp3s (or heck, even 256k mp3s) I'd say give me more at that quality. But these are really, really lossy. They sure sound like transcodes to me.

We don't really "have" these songs yet; not in the same way that we have copies of Anything in Between or the original takes of Alone, Brother, etc.
They're transcoded MP3s, a poor quality photocopy of the real article. These songs may very well never see official release, it's important that we get copies in the best possible quality for archival purposes.

I don't know. If these were simply 320 mp3s (or heck, even 256k mp3s) I'd say give me more at that quality. But these are really, really lossy. They sure sound like transcodes to me.
But now that they're out there, PJ may consider these for Lost Dogs II. If they never leaked them we may never have seen/heard them. Leak everything and it may force their hand for the quality later.
Although they'll redo most parts.

If anything, I can imagine their stance being "oh well, nobody's going to be excited about those songs now, everyone's already heard 'em".
