I’d be into it if a good director were behind it. But Gary Ross? Ehhhhh....

I didn't ask for it. But I'm not angry at it. Could be fun. Could be a disaster. But I don't find this any more or less offensive than most of the mainstream shit studios keep churning out and shoving at us.

I LOVE Pleasantville. And his Hunger Games was really good, too. I have no issues with Ross per se.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I’d be into it if a good director were behind it. But Gary Ross? Ehhhhh....

Saw the trailer for A Quiet Place and I'm not sure what to think. For example, I've washed pots and pans and they are never quiet. On that same front, what if someone sneezes? Or gets a cold? And how about all that corn that needed to be ground up somehow to throw it around? Hmm. I dunno about this one.

I saw the trailer too. Ultimately it looked like someone just wanted the challenge of making this film with no dialoguebune wrote:Saw the trailer for A Quiet Place and I'm not sure what to think. Shortest script ever. "Scary shit happens, no one talks, the end."Screenwriters Scott Beck and Bryan Woods began writing A Quiet Place in January 2016,[3] and by March 2017, Paramount bought their spec script.
