I wish I could rank TLJ like that Stip, instead of thinking about whether or not it deserves last place.

Bold. i wont dare rank it number 1 at this point. Needs time to settle in. but no change any of the prequels are remotely better than TLJ.

TLJ is easily top tier for me though as it stands right now.

Interestingly I think what separates us most is ROTS, which I really like. We both love R1 and the OT, and have some issues with the sequels.

There are things I like about ROTS, but a lotttttt of things I don't (Three Stooges battle droids are one of them).

yeah, I established that as a huge caveat in my earlier ranking. We'll see if it sticks. But it's too soon to rank it everywhere

Very interesting with nine movies out (three old, three semi modern, and three modern), to see how people rank them, especially TLJ.

Okay, I'm going to do a super premature ranking of the theatrically released Star Wars canon films (with accompanying # of viewings):

1. The Empire Strikes Back (12 +)
2. Rogue One (4)
3. The Force Awakens (5)
4. The Last Jedi (1)
5. A New Hope (12 +)
6. Return of the Jedi (12 +)
7. The Clone Wars (1)
8. The Phantom Menace (6)
9. Revenge of the Sith (1)
10. Attack of the Clones (3)

These seem to fluctuate and change a lot, though.

It's also sad that there are more mediocre SW films than good ones now.

But this new batch is doing it's best to correct that (or should say restore balance ;) ). Adding three to the plus column has helped tremendously.
