how does quantum computing factor into this

when someone creates one, they mine every remaining coin and then rule the universe

what do we do then

they will have achieved He-Man status

From what I hear they could just increase the difficulty and even a quantum computer couldnt hack it.

But if you had a quantum computer, would you tell anyone about it?

MGTI

Burt, you in on this?

it's OTC, so rather than GAAP, McAfee might just be using it to get an LOC to buy amphetamines

I don't know what that is but I don't mess with mining. I hear it isn't profitable anymore.

I may revere and idolize McAfee, but I'm damn sure not buying anything he's selling.

i was thinking about this the other day

if the thing that's propping BTC up is largely millions of chinese nationals, because they have capital controls in place and (rightly) may not trust their own undeveloped financial markets,

then BTC will probably continue to flood upward

real estate in A-tier U.S. cities got all bought up by chinese investment

then there were capital controls to keep money in the country and it slowed it down

but U.S. RE has still stayed up in those areas

now that they can't all buy american real estate as easily, BTC may be their best way out

and that will just keep it up
