I watched the prequels right around the time Force Awakens came out, so it has been a few years.

after a slow start I loved the clone wars series, which managed to do right everything Lucas did wrong.

TCW really improved the prequels for me. They're flawed films but I don't hate them like I used to. There's a lot to like there, especially with TCW series to fill in some of those blanks.

I still wish the overall structure/story arc had been a bit different. But I've com around on them quite a bit.

The Clone Wars turned into a pleasant surprise for me. I am a prequel hater, like pretty much everything about them. It is what it is, so given that, the CW series made the best of a bad situation. I would have like to see a lot of the stories / battles make their way to the films.

with the exception of the chosen one nonsense the core idea underneath the prequel I was already okay with. But the whole thing was so poorly performed and plotted that who could care.

They made me not care about star wars (until that shot of the falcon in the first TFA teaser)

I'm with you. I certainly did not identify as a Star Wars fan after the prequels. Really it was TFA that made me a fan, if I'm honest. I liked Star Wars but TFA ... that transformed things for me and made me care about this stuff a way I never had before.

I always enjoyed the prequels, even if they were flawed. ROTS and the Clone wars series are both great.

We got The Clone Wars series out of the prequels, so I'll always be grateful to them for that.

Aotc is uneven, but also has some stellar scenes. Could have been a great movie with the same cast and setting.

her dead eyes and utter lack of caring (and who could blame here) pull off the difficult feat of making her unattractive
