I came back for the vault, and then I need to go away for a little while. You understand, right?

They've really done a piss poor job with the whole vault thing in general. I say that, but I still come back every year waiting to see what the next release will be.

You're going on vacation? Yeah, they are assholes.

Aren't you able to track it at this point?

I dunno if we thought they would look any different, but here's a pic:
Spoiler: show

And the extra tracks come in....everyone brace themselves...MP3s.

The fact that the digital edition isn't up yet makes me think that it won't be up until after Christmas, maybe after the 1st of the year.

Fun fact, the box they ship these in can also hold a medium Dominos pizza.

This is maddening. All of these should come with a HD FLAC download option.

Wait, so they're releasing mp3 versions of tracks that are available in the exact same audio quality, but in lossless format, on the bootleg?

The vinyl cuts off at Porch. They give you the last seven songs of the concert in mp3.

I think what KD means is: there has been a FLAC version of the FM radio feed (which is the source for the final 7 songs) going around for years, and the 10C is sending out the tunes in a much lower quality.

Yeah, I wasn't certain.

I don't really see a reason to care how they release the bonus tracks. Once they decided not to put them on the vinyl, the damage is done. If there are better versions out there, then just keep the versions you've got. They apparently don't have multi track versions, so what's already out there is as good as it gets.
